Altjira

Altjira is the sky father of the Aranda tribes in Central Australia. He is the god who created the Earth; he then retired  to the top of the sky and became indifferent to mankind. His name is also connected with the word meaning "to dream". In Aboriginal beliefs, there are two kinds of reality. One is everyday linear, objective activity. The other is the Dreamtime, which is part of the limitless and expansive spiritual realms. Aborigines view Dreamtime as more real then waking reality. The values and laws of Aboriginal society are established by the Dreamtime.

Altjira is a wonderful ally. He may have retreated after he created the world, but he is still willing to help anyone who asks and is willing to work with the Dreamtime. Despite his aloof nature, he loves being helpful. He reminds mortals how fluid physical reality is and invites them to use their creative instincts to tansform their lives.

Altjira was able to bring the universe into existance by dreaming it. He will  ask you what your dreams are and invite you to bring them into fruition in your life. Altjira knows that once you have the desire, creation is just a choice, and he will help you make right choices.

Altjira will help you
Work with your dreams. Play and enjoy life. Maifest your deepest desires. Connect with the spiritual realms.

Invocation
Clearly write down your hopes, dreams, and desires. Read them over just before you go to sleep and then ask Altjira to help you. He will send you a messages and guidance. If you aren't sure what his messages mean, ask him again the following night. He will work closely with you as long as you are willing. You spend a third of you life sleeping, and he is a a powerful teacher of the Dreamtime

  1. Great post.
I believe Altjira might be similar to Iemanjá.
Wishes, dreams, naivety, mythology, fisher stories, the sea.
